It’s the giving season – help change a child’s life by donating today
This Christmas, help change the lives of children and young people living with juvenile idiopathic arthritis and childhood rheumatic diseases.
It’s four years this December since JAFA was established and together with the JAFA community, families, friends and supporters we are making a difference for children and young people with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) and childhood rheumatic diseases (CRD’s).
It’s a good start, but we need to do much more and we need your help.
Will you help us reach our goal of $50k this Christmas?
Every dollar counts and is gratefully received. By donating to JAFA, you help us continue advocating and changing the lives of these children and young people through:
Supporting families, building community with relevant, trusted information; online Symposia for parents and older children on critical issues in JIA and CRD’s; linking children with arthritis through KidsConnect, a secure, purpose-built online ‘play space’ where they can meet and share experiences with peers.
Political advocacy to improve services and support by conducting ongoing political advocacy campaigns, (Federal and State), to improve health policy, services and support for those living with JIA and CRD’s.
Raising and leveraging research funding by working with government, private partners and the paediatric rheumatology community to leverage and raise funds for research; understand and track the prevalence of JIA; assess the health and financial impacts; improve treatments, services and care; prevent and, ultimately, find a cure for JIA.
